The National Weather Service in LaCrosse, Wis., has issued a severe thunderstorm warning for Mower County.

At 4:10 p.m. a system was reported near London, near Austin, moving southeast at 20 mph.

The storm may intensify as it travels and residents are urged to monitor for developments in storm severity. Nickel-sized hail has been reported and heavy rain with strong winds are expected.
