STREET MAINTENANCE POSITION

The City of Austin is accepting applications for street maintenance (chauffeur) positions.

This entry-level position performs a variety of unskilled and semi-skilled maintenance work and equipment operation in the areas of construction, maintenance, repair and replacement of City streets.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or GED equivalent, valid state driver’s license with Class A CDL Certification, plus 3 years’ experience in construction, maintenance or repair.

Wage range is $21.37 – $25.44, and includes a complete benefit package.
