To the Voters of Mower County

I would like to express my support to Investigator Steve Sandvik in his run for Sheriff.  I have worked closely with Steve, first a court deputy, night shift sergeant, investigator, and now as the senior investigator.  He has a good work ethic and treats everyone with dignity, and is always respectful.  He has worked a vast array of cases over the years, one of which was a horrendous child abuse case in the Dexter area.  We testified side-by-side at the legislature to get stronger penalties for such abuses and were successful.

A short story from a few years ago, Steve had a bedraggled dog wander into his yard one day.  He did his best to find the dog’s owner.  Finding no one, he took the mostly hairless dog to the vet, incurred hundreds of dollars in vet bills and now has his car ride loving partner.

I support Steve Sandvik for Sheriff!!!
