A cool way to celebrate July traveling

“The Heat May Be On,” but our next two July trips (July 12 and July 25) will be in cool comfort.
We will make a return visit to the Marion Ross Theatre in Albert Lea for the production of “Beauty and the Beast.”
This tale is filled with spectacular music and costumes and a love story like no other.
In the opening-night visit, this theater has been a not-to-miss stop.
Upcoming trips
• July 25: Disney’s “Newsies” is a new show in many theaters this year. Originally opening in 2012 and running for 1,004 performances, it now comes to the Chanhassen Dinner Theatre.
Based on the 1992 Disney film and the actual real-life strike of 1899, this show is full of high energy song and dance.
The fee is due now. Departure time is 9 a.m. and return time is 6 p.m. at the Walmart parking lot.
•Aug. 14: Mystery Trip. The fee is due by July 26. We will depart at 7:30 a.m. and return about 5:30 p.m. Note the earlier return time.
•Aug. 27: Minnesota State Fair. By popular request, we will bring this trip back. This day is Senior Day with special activities. It seems each day is very busy as this is the the largest State Fair in attendance in the United States.
Leave the driving and parking to us. Easy access, and the leisure and comfort on the drive back to Austin.
It includes gate admission. Departing at 7: 30 a.m. and returning at approximately 6 p.m.
•Aug. 29: 5 p.m. Danube Riverboat Tour send off. At the Mower County Senior Center.
