Applications are being accepted for the title of Mrs. Mower County, and the winner of the competition will represent her county at the Mrs. Minnesota pageant.

The contest will be held at the Wellstone Center on April 27, 2019, at St. Paul. The woman chosen as Mrs. Mower County would then be an ambassador from the Mower County area and would receive the official title and sash. Those who are named as Mrs. Minnesota receive a prize package worth $7,000 and the chance to represent Minnesota at the 2019 Mrs. International Pageant in August at Charleston, West Virginia,with The American Heart Association’s “Go Red for Women” being the official charity for the Mrs. Minnesota pageant.

Currently reigning as the 2018 Mrs. Minnesota is Valentina Kostenko of Ramsey.

For those interested, the pageant includes personal interview, fitness wear and evening gown. There are no talent or swimsuit competitions and is for married women.
