Lorraine Feuerhak, 93, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away on Tuesday, July 3, 2018, at Mayo Clinic Health System-Austin.

Lorraine E. Feuerhak was born Sept. 10, 1924, in Omaha, Nebraska, to Louis and Mary Overfelt.

She graduated from McIntire, Iowa, High School in 1943 and moved to Austin to work at Hormel during World War II. She worked there for about eight years, then worked as a waitress and bartender then as an Avon representative.

She married Lloyd Janning in 1946. The couple later divorced. She married Don Feuerhak in 1981.

She belonged to the VFW and American Legion Auxiliary. She enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, especially her friends at Chauncy. She also enjoyed fishing, gardening, dancing, baking, bingo and going to casinos.

Survivors include her daughter, Linda (Jim) Mohn of Austin; grandson, Mike Mohn of Fridley, Minnesota; great-grandchildren, Blake and Jenessa Mohn of Fridley; and sister, Bernice (Bill) Schulz of Osage, Iowa.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and husband, Don Feuerhak, in 1986.

At her request, her body was bequeathed to Mayo Clinic for education and no services will be held.
