The Austin Post 91 Legion baseball team clinched the top seed for the District playoffs when it beat the Rochester A’s 3-0 on the road Thursday.

Jack Dankert pitched a seven-inning shutout for Austin (15-6 overall) as he struck out five and allowed four hits. Drew Copley had a double and two RBIs.

Austin will wrap up its regular season when it hosts Mankato Saturday and it will host a playoff game in Marcusen Park Tuesday at 7 p.m.
