Memorial services for Ruth J. Fuller of Albert Lea, Minnesota, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 9, 2018, at the Bonnerup Funeral Service in Albert Lea, Minnesota. Pastor Kent Otterman will officiate. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Interment will be in Hillcrest Cemetery.

Ruth J. Fuller, 97

Ruth died Wednesday, July 4, 2018, at the Mayo Clinic Health System-Albert Lea. She was 97 years of age.

She was born Sept. 26, 1920, in Hancock County, Iowa, the daughter of John and Mary (Mahoney) Muehe. She attended public school in Wesley, Iowa. On Sept. 3, 1955, she was united in marriage to Leo Fuller in Albert Lea.

Ruth had been employed as a telephone operator in Missouri, Albert Lea and in the U.S. Army Hospital in California. She also was a cashier for the Albert Lea Public School System.

Ruth enjoyed playing cards, trips to the casino, spending winters in Arizona and summers at Kiesler’s campground. Foremost for her was spending time with her family and grandchildren.

Ruth is survived by her children, Cindy Anderson of Albert Lea, Glen (Ann) Fuller of Austin, Judy (Ken) Jackson of Albert Lea, and Terry (Lynn) Fuller of Joliet, Illinois; grandchildren, Shane McPeak, Allison (Sam) Olson, Cassie Fuller, Krista (Jon) Possehl, Laura (Eric) Worke, Whitney Fuller and Taylor Fuller. There are eight great-grandchildren; Gene and Lisa McPeak, Malakai and Quinn Olson, Connor and Leah Possehl and Lexi Worke. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews and special friends the Kiesler family.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, husband Leo, son Robert, mother in law Margaret Fuller, son in law Andy Anderson and brothers and sisters.
