Kyle David Miller, 31, of Austin, Minnesota, died Saturday, Aug. 4, 2018, at his home after a lifelong battle with cystic fibrosis.

Kyle was born Nov. 2, 1986, in Austin to Linda and David Miller. He grew up in Austin and attended Austin Public Schools.

He enjoyed hunting (especially rabbits), fishing, camping, swimming, tubing, riding motorcycles and spending time with friends and family. He would love to give his parents a hard time about the Vikings and would try his best to make everyone laugh. When he could, he enjoyed working outdoors roofing and landscaping.

Survivors include his parents, Linda and David Miller of Austin; his grandfather, Jim Muhlbauer, Austin; aunts and uncles, Deb (Tom) Haugland, Cheryl (Jason) Muhlbauer, Joleen Muhlbauer, Stacey (Tim) Nazzaro, Lynn Miller, Diane LaRocco, Debbie Adams, John (Mary) Miller, Gary (Terri) Miller, Steve Miller and Brad Miller; step-uncles, Randy (Peggy) Tesdahl, Bob (Dorothy) Tesdahl; numerous cousins; his friends to the end, Nate Christenson, Marcus Olson and Eric Pehrson; fishing buddies, Roger Miller and Mike Pratt; and his beloved dog, Ora.

He was preceded in death by his brother, Jeremy Miller; grandparents, Ruth Muhlbauer, Donald and Myrtle Miller and Newman Tesdahl; aunts and uncles, Cindy and Joyce Muhlbauer, Bill and Butch Miller and John LaRocco; and cousin, Jacob Muhlbauer.

A memorial service will be held at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 9, 2018, at Mayer Funeral Home with Father Tom Loomis officiating. Friends may call one hour before the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Interment will be in Calvary Cemetery. Condolences may be left online at www.mayerfh.com.
