Vivian Chapman Everhart, 74

Vivian Chapman Everhart, 74, passed peacefully on Saturday, July 7, 2018, at Morningstar Senior Living Facility in Billings, Montana. The cause was listed as Alzheimer’s disease and/or dementia.

Paige, as she preferred to be called, was born on May 24, 1944, in Austin, Minnesota, to Mercedes and Irving Chapman.

Paige was a special person that always looked for the fun side of any situation. She had a great sense of humor, which she shared with everyone around her

Vivian graduated from Adams High School in 1962. She married Robert Wolf soon after graduation. They lived in Austin and raised three sons, Kerry, Kevin and Daniel. They later divorced.

She married William Everhart in April 1983. Bill had two sons, William II and James Dean, to whom Paige became a mother, as if they were her own.

The family moved to Wyoming to accommodate Bill’s career in law enforcement. Paige worked at several different occupations over the years, including as a bartender and sales clerk at a local grocery store in the bakery department. She also was an avid outdoors person and enjoyed trips to the mountains, fishing, hunting and cutting firewood.

Vivian was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Dick; brother and sisters-in-law. Jack and Barbara Chapman and Francie Chapman; nephews, Michael, Larry and Mark Gardner; and grandnephew, Scott Gardner.

Paige is survived by her husband; sons and stepsons; 10 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; her sister, Roseann Stundahl; brother, Wayne Chapman

Sr. (Mary); sister-in-law, Helen Chapman; and several nieces and nephews.

A memorial celebration, hosted by her family from Wyoming and Austin, was held at the Austin VFW on Aug. 18, 2018.
