Keep those on the East Coast in mind

It seems like each year the media reports about how those on the East Coast and in the South are being devastated by hurricanes.

This year, Hurricane Florence whipped through North and South Carolina, Virginia and other states. Statistics from the natural disaster have 343,000 people without power in North Carolina, over 30 inches of rainfall has hit areas affected by the hurricane, and a combined 37, with more potentially, people dying from storm-related incidents.

Local EMTs and other groups have sent out help to those in need. But the cleanup and rebuilding have just begun.

So keep those people in your thoughts as they battle the devastation left by the hurricane. To help offer help, you can donate to several groups including The Salvation Army and the American Red Cross, among other nonprofits.
