Keith Allen Rouhoff, 63, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away peacefully on Friday, March 23, 2018, at Homestead Hospice House in Owatonna, Minnesota.
Keith was born on Sept. 28, 1954, in Austin to Wesley and Ella (Birdsell) Rouhoff. He graduated from Austin High School in 1973, attended Austin Community College and went on to earn his bachelor of fine arts degree from the Minneapolis College of Art and Design in 1978.
Keith was an artist that was always interested in trying new techniques. He enjoyed working with his colleagues at Cedar Valley and conversing with his many friends at the Twin Towers. He always enjoyed the meals and company at Kenny’s Oak Grill, and you knew the food was good when he gave his A+ rating. Music and movies were his passion and he enjoyed both immensely. Keith did well with life challenges with help from many people.
Keith is survived by his mother, Ella Rouhoff of Park Rapids, Minnesota (formerly of Austin); his sister, Darlene (Wayne) Swanson of Park Rapids; sister-in-law, Valerie Rouhoff of Austin; aunt, Nadyne Yribarren of Tranquility, California; cousins, nieces, nephews and many other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Wesley, in 1974; brother, Wayne, in 2011; grandparents; and many aunts and uncles.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 29, 2018, at Worlein Funeral Home in Austin. Visitation will be for one hour before the service on Saturday at the funeral home. A light lunch will be served after the service. Interment will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Hayfield, Minnesota. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
