Greater Mower County Paint the Town Pink is launching an event to raise funds for cancer research.

Not Your Granny’s Bingo! Will be held at the Mower County Fairgrounds in the Plager Building, beginning at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday.

Also billed as Date Night Designer Bingo, the bingo game prizes include designer handbags, wallets, clutches, gift cards and more. Over $3,000 in total prizes is up for grabs.

Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. for a social hour and bingo will start at 6:30 p.m. Entertainment will be by the Amish Playboyz and will start at 8:30 p.m. and play through 11 p.m.. Tickets are $35 in advance or $45 at the door. Advance tickets are available at Hy-Vee Austin Customer Service and also include wristband for the Playboyz and a coupon for a snack item. You must be 21 or older to attend.

All proceeds go to the Greater Mower County Paint the Town Pink and FairCares.
