Anderson Memorials wins international competition; Beat submissions from throughout U.S. and Canada

Jeff Anderson and Kyle Larson of Anderson Memorials were winners in the design competition at the American Institute of Commemorative Art (AICA) conference recently held in St. Augustine, Florida.

AICA membership is composed of many of the most renowned memorialists in the United States and Canada. Membership is by invitation only and is limited to monument retail firms who have shown a sincere commitment to excellence while practicing their trade.

At the conference, AICA members submitted memorial designs for judging. Criteria considered in the judging were design, craftsmanship and how well the memorial told the life story.

Anderson won first place in the Public Memorial division for the Rice County Veteran’s Memorial in Faribault. Larson won second place in the marker division.
