How Sweet it Is! Honey Spinning and Entomology

Pacelli biology students visited the Jovaag farm to learn about the lives and work of honeybees. Local beekeeper, Ben Klankowski, shared his knowledge and passion about bees: their life cycle, social networks, finding of nectar, seasonal changes in the hive, as well as about beekeeping and honey production itself. A highlight of the morning was tasting the freshly-centrifuged honey just after it was removed from the combs.
