Letter: Feehan dedicated to service

As a former Minnesota State Representative, I fully understand the need to elect qualified, dedicated public servants to serve as members of Congress and the State Legislature.
I first met Dan Feehan over a year ago when he visited my home to discuss his interest in serving the 1st Congressional District in the United States Congress. As the daughter of a Korean War veteran and the mother of an Iraqi War veteran, I understood Dan Feehan’s dedication to service and immediately endorsed him as our next member of Congress. His service in the U.S. Army included two tours in Iraq. In addition, he worked at the Pentagon.
So many people running for political office are quick to express their verbal support for our military without backing that support with action. Dan Feehan not only verbally supports a strong military, he actually served his country for 8 years in the U.S. Army. Whenever I have a clear choice between a talker and a doer, I will always vote for the doer.
Dan Feehan is a doer. He is married to an elementary school teacher and is raising two wonderful boys. Dan Feehan has taught math in low-income schools and was born and raised in Minnesota. He has run a positive campaign and has rejected donations from Political Action Committees.
Dan Feehan has served his nation on the battlefield and in the classroom. He is qualified, dedicated, and ready to represent the 1st Congressional District of Minnesota as our next member of Congress.
Please join me in voting for Dan Feehan for Congress.
