To the Editor:

I worked 29 years for the Mower County Sheriff’s Department in several different capacities. I retired as a detective for the Sheriff’s Department and as an active member of the Southeastern Minnesota Narcotics Task Force.

During my tenure with the sheriff’s department, I worked with both men running for sheriff.

In my opinion, Steve Sandvik is the best qualified to be the next sheriff of Mower County.
