As a 24-year veteran of the Dodge County Sheriff’s Office and a 13-year investigator, I’ve had the honor and privilege of working with Steve Sandvik. I’ve spent time working with Steve both on the SE MN Narcotics Task Force, and numerous cases that have affected both of our counties over the years.

His dedication to the citizens of Mower County, as well as to others outside of Mower County, is second to none as our jobs do not follow county lines. I’ve been able to call Steve any time day or night to tap into his knowledge and expertise on so many different cases.

I have no doubt that Steve Sandvik possesses all of the qualities, skills, and leadership needed to be the next great sheriff of Mower County.
