The Southland volleyball team just missed its first win of the season as it lost to Plainview-Elgin-Millville 25-20, 21-25, 25-19, 17-25, 15-13 (1-9 overall) in five games in Plainview Tuesday.

Laura Bottema had nine set assists and three digs for the Rebels (0-15 overall).
