The Lyle-Pacelli girls basketball team lost its season opener to Zumbrota-Mazeppa 60-38 in the Dover tournament Friday.

The Athletics (0-1 overall) had just eight points in the first half.

“We had a rough start,” LP head coach Anna Meyer said. “There were some growing pains and we have a lot to learn, but we’re excited about the players that we do have and how far they’ll come along.”
