Tools stolen in rural Lyle burglary; no suspects

Lyle police are seeking information regarding a garage burglary that occurred on Tuesday.
According to Mower County Chief Deputy Mark May, a burglary was reported at about 1 p.m. in the 54000 block of 110th Street in Lyle. The victim said he left his residence at 8:30 a.m. and returned later to find that several tools were missing from an unlocked garage on the property.
Tools that were listed as missing were a Dewalt miter saw and attached folding stand, a red upright air compressor with a 22-23 gallon tank and several hoses, and a red 4 ½ gallon gas can. May said the estimated value of the missing property was $650.
The victim said he contacted family members to make sure none of them had come by to borrow the tools.
Police have no suspects at this time.
