The Austin girls hockey team lost to Albert Lea (2-5-1 overall, 1-4-1 Big Nine) 2-0 on the road Thursday.
The Packers (2-4 overall, 1-4 Big Nine) trailed 2-0 after one period and despite piling up 35 shots on goal, they went scoreless.
“We dominated the game in the second and the third, we just couldn’t come back,” Austin head coach Carley Grunewald said. “They had a solid goalie.”
