The Gophers will play in their first bowl game since P.J. Fleck was hired as coach in Jan. 2017 on Wednesday afternoon in Detroit.

The Quick Lane Bowl matchup will pit Minnesota (6-6) against Georgia Tech (7-5). Kickoff at Ford Field is set for 4:15 p.m. The Gophers became bowl-eligible by beating Big Ten Conference rival Wisconsin their regular-season finale in Madison.

The game will be broadcast live on ESPN and KFAN-FM 100.3.
