The LeRoy-Ostrander girls basketball team was able to switch gears in the second half as it beat United South Central (1-13 overall) 75-53 on the road Tuesday.

Haley Hungerholt had 29 points for the Cardinals (4-8 overall), but Emily Hofner picked up the offense in the second half, when she hit four three-pointers. Hofner finished with 19 points.

“Haley played great,” LO interim girls basketball coach Ryan Wehrenberg said. “They tried to take her away in the second half and Emily Hofner hit four threes. It was nice to finish a game.”
