The Hayfield boys basketball team beat New Richland-HEG (5-12 overall, 2-6 Gopher) 75-55 on the road Thursday.

Hayfield (14-2 overall, 8-0 Gopher) jumped out to an 8-0 lead as Mason Tapp hit two early three-pointers. Tapp finished with 24 points.
