Rebels can’t keep up with Trojans

The No. 14 seeded Southland boys basketball team had its season end in a loss to No. 3 Rushford-Peterson (17-10 overall) 66-52 in Rushford Thursday.
Southland (7-19) led for the first 24 minutes of the game, but RP closed the game out on a 25-3 run.
“The kids played hard tonight and I’m proud,” Southland head coach Matt Webber said.
Ethan Forthun had 14 points for Southland.
