Austin woman injured in accident; Vehicle was driving on wet road conditions

An Austin woman was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries after an accident on Saturday morning.
According to the Minnesota State Patrol accident report, Pamela Ruth Alstead, 62, of Austin was headed eastbound at about 11:24 a.m. on Saturday on Interstate 90 in Hayward Township, Freeborn County, when her 2005 Toyota Camry lost control and skidded into the median, causing the vehicle to roll over.
The Minnesota State Patrol, Hayward Fire Department and Gold Cross Ambulance Service responded to the scene.
Alstead was transported to Mayo Clinic Health System-Albert Lea with non-life threatening injuries.
The vehicle was driving on wet roads at the time of the accident. Alcohol was determined to not be a factor.
