The Austin Youth Basketball girls sixth grade team team took second place at the state tournament and they ended their season with a record of 24-1.

Austin won the Big Nine this season and it won tournaments in Owatonna, Fairmont, Austin and Waterville-Elysian-Morristown.

The team includes: coach Andrew Brede and coach Nicole Shute, Ajiem Agwa, Nyapuoch Babuothkai, Alyssa Ronning, Laura Beakert, Olivia Schmit, Nyabol Gac, Addison Boysen, Marissa Shute, Mackenzie Brede and Andrea Hernandez.
