The Friends of the Library are in the midst of a project to not only better the library, but the community as well. 

The group is trying to replace the plastic bags currently in the library with cloth bags that can be used repeatedly.

To accomplish this, The Friends of the Library is in need of donations including fabric, pattern cutters and bag sewers.  The making of the bags is a simple project.  Full instructions will be provided.

People can drop off fabric at the library.  If you are willing to cut and sew, contact Peggy Keener at 507-396-2165.
