Mower County Sheriff Steve Sandvik is looking for the owner of an oval silver ladies watch that was left in the Mower County Law Enforcement Center’s medication drop box by mistake.

Sandvik found the watch while emptying the drop box on Wednesday. The watch was found in a bag containing two prescription medication bottles, neither of which had any identification on them.

Sandvik said it might have been dropped off at any time throughout the day on Tuesday or Wednesday morning. Sandvik will return the watch to its owner if he or she can verify which two prescriptions were dropped off with the watch.
