Turtle Creek flood warning in effect until Sunday

The National Weather Service in La Crosse issued a river flood warning for Turtle Creek until late Sunday night or until the warning is cancelled.
At 9:30 a.m. on Friday, the stage was 10.8 feet and was expected to rise to 11.3 feet by this morning due to melting snow. The flood stage for Turtle Creek is 10 ½ feet and minor flooding is expected.
Showers are expected tonight and Sunday morning. The weather forecast calls for partly cloudy skies Monday through Wednesday with temperatures mostly staying above freezing.
Showers are expected on Thursday and Friday with warmer temperatures on Thursday and cooling temperatures on Friday.
