UPDATE: Cottage Grove Amber Alert cancelled after children found safe

UPDATE: An Amber Alert issued by the Bureau of Criminal Apprehension after two children were taken by their father from their home in Cottage Grove has been cancelled.
According to the BCA report, Jeffrey Lo assaulted the mother of his two children and left the scene in the mother’s minivan with the children at 6:34 a.m. Friday.
An updated report states that the children have been found safe and Lo has been taken into custody.

The BCA has issued an Amber Alert after two children were taken by their father from their home in Cottage Grove.
Jeffrey Lo
According to the BCA report, Jeffrey Lo assaulted the mother of his two children and left the scene in the mother’s minivan with the children at 6:34 a.m. Friday.
The minivan is a tan 2004 Toyota Sienna with MN license plate 708XEM.
Lo is described as an Asian male, 5’ 5” and 180 lbs. with brown eyes.
The children are Asian females ages 1 and 3. The report did not list the children’s’ names and there clothing description unknown.
The alert states that Lo is armed. If spotted, call 911; do not approach Lo.
