Mower County Senior Center
We are changing our hours and June is our trial month.
We are now opening the building at 7:30 a.m. instead of 8 a.m. If this works well in June, we will plan to do this all summer long.
We are doing this because we want to offer you more. We are looking into some early morning meditation, yoga and/or exercise classes. We will be offering breakfast options in the coffee shop for those early birds to get together with your friends, including a variety of oatmeal, coffee cake, cinnamon rolls, orange juice and other breakfast options. We will post it weekly on the front doors to keep you updated.
If you have any suggestions of what you would like to see or if we are on the right track and you would attend the ideas listed, please let us know. This will greatly help with our planning.
We would also like you to take notice of two times on June 12 and 14 when we will be offering a salad bar. Take special notice of June 14, which is a Friday evening from 4:30-6 p.m. This would be a great opportunity to check out Bingo. Doors open at 5:30 p.m. Bingo starts at 6:30 p.m.
The salad bar will include lettuce with all the toppings and at least two other salads and breads. Come check it out. If you enjoy it, let us know and we will do it again in July.
- Small bowl – one trip: $2
- Salad Plate – one trip: $4
- All-you-can-eat $8

- Soup is included with all you can eat price.
Don’t forget our coffee shop where every day you can have homemade soup for $1 and sandwich for 50 cents. Tuesday we will be having tator tot hotdish for $2.
