ST. PAUL — A father could spend a year in jail for the death of his 4-year-old son who was left in in an SUV while he worked for nearly 6 hours at a St. Paul event.

Twenty-six-year-old Kristopher Taylor pleaded guilty to second-degree manslaughter this week in an agreement with prosecutors in Ramsey County District Court. Prosecutors agreed that Taylor would serve up to a year in jail or the county workhouse and be on probation for 10 years.
