City of Austin, take a bow. What a great ArtWorks weekend. Planning and execution were perfect. Also impressive is the assimilation of multi cultures in your city. You are a model for Minnesota.

As a guest author, I was invited to the Friday eve gala dinner at the Hormel House. What a welcoming event. Saturday was given to browsing the art vendors in your version of Tent City. Great talent there with interesting stories to share. Then Sunday, Sweet Reads hosted my reading.

Huge thanks to Lisa Deyo, staff, and volunteers for a fun read and impressive book sales.

Finally thanks to Brie and family at Val’s Hideaway B&B. Restful, convenient lodging with a bonus of interesting guests eager to chat. I’ll look for a reason to return.
