Susan (Clark) Bauer, 63, of Faribault, Minnesota, formerly of Austin, Minnesota, passed away unexpectedly at her home on Friday, Aug.16, 2019.
Susan Diane was born on March 15, 1956, in Austin to Ed and Grace (Haney) Clark. She graduated from Austin High School with the Class of 1974. Susan was a small business owner for many years before working 17 years at Crown, Cork & Seal until her retirement. She was married to Kevin Bauer in 1997. Following retirement, Susan enjoyed her time at home and was high on life. She loved going to the casino with her friend Gail and traveling, especially to Colorado. She had a special bond with her grandchildren and her beloved pet, Sophie.
Susan is survived by her husband, Kevin Bauer; children, Melissa (Jimmy) Hustvedt and Justin Stevens (special friend, Kristen); step-children, Sarah Bauer and Casey Bauer; grandchildren, Lauryn and Riley Hustvedt, Laila Stevens and future grandchild, Ivy Stevens; step-grandchildren, Marcus Bauer and Ava Bishop; siblings, Barb “Jeannie” Wencl (Jim), Ron Clark and Mike Clark; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ed and Grace.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2019, at the Parker Kohl Funeral Home, 1725 Lyndale Ave. N. in Faribault, Minnesota, with the Rev. Jeff Sandgren, pastor of Our Saviors Lutheran Church, officiating. Visitation will be two hours before the service on Wednesday at the funeral home.
