Jim and Becky (Ronne) Bissen will be celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Sept. 28, at the Cedar River Event Center in Osage, Iowa, with an open house from 1-10 p.m. They were married in Grand Meadow on Oct. 4, 1969.

They were blessed with five children; Amy (Greg) Roberts, Tricia Branden (Trent Frey), Andy (Angie), Brian (Katie), Annette (deceased), and seven grandchildren.
