Here it was 9-11 and the city of Austin made the poor decision to fly flags from other countries along with the American flag. I am horribly offended as are many of my friends. My father was in the Reserves, as were many other family members.

Wednesday was supposed to be in support and remembrance due to the events and lives lost on that day not so many years ago. We feel the other flags are a slap in the face to those men and women that gave their lives and time, not only on this day but the days that occurred after.

I am saddened by the ignorance of the individuals that made the decision to fly those flags early because it was a convenience to them. Those flags should have been removed immediately.
