Absolute Theatre has announced a casting call for area actors for its upcoming production of the Broadway musical, “A Year with Frog & Toad” at 6:30 p.m. on Nov. 10 and 11 at the Castle Community in the Community Room (third floor). Castle Community is located at 121 N. Broadway Ave in Rochester.

Director Kathy Keech is seeking three men and two women to appear in this full length musical. These are non-equity opportunities, but all actors will be paid a small stipend for their participation with potential bonuses at ticket benchmarks. Dance requirements are standard.

The performance dates for “A Year with Frog & Toad” are 7 p.m. on Jan. 16-18, 23-25 and 1 p.m. on Jan. 19 and 26. All performances will be at Les Fields Hall at the Castle Community.

“A Year with Frog and Toad” was nominated for three Tony Awards — including Best Musical. featuring a score by Robert and Willie Reale. This whimsical show follows two great friends — the cheerful, popular Frog and the rather grumpy Toad — through four seasons.
