Mortarr, a leading inspiration gallery and networking website and app exclusively for commercial construction and design, is participating in the 2019 Twin Cities Startup Week (TCSW).
The Albert Lea-based company was invited to participate in the BETA Showcase on Oct. 14 at TCF Stadium. According to TCSW, the showcase runs a bit like a science fair, but for startups.
“The event gives growing businesses, like ours, the opportunity to showcase what we’ve done and what’s in store in the fast-approaching, ever-exciting future,” says Steve Pulley, Mortarr’s Co-Founder and Chief Operation Officer. “The audience will be a mix of entrepreneurs, investors, students, and media all looking to find the next best thing.”
Mortarr is also a finalist for the Emerging Startup Award, part of TCSW Awards Ceremony on Oct. 16. This award category is all about recognizing a new, hungry addition to the Minnesota startup ecosystem. Over 200 nominations were received for the awards’ seven categories and each category now has three finalists.
“We’re honored to be included among the other finalists,” says Pulley.
For the first time, event organizers are letting the public vote on each category. Voting is now open and ends today. Winners will be announced at the awards ceremony on Oct. 16, at the Science Museum of Minnesota. Head to https://tech.mn/tcsw-landing.html to learn more about the awards and cast your vote.
