David Allen Wiseman, 64, of Austin, Minnesota, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2019, surrounded by his family at his home in Austin.

David Allen Wiseman, 64

David was born Aug. 7, 1955, in Austin to Daniel D. and Patricia J. (Geise) Wiseman. In 1974, he married Dawn Sullivan. David served in the U.S. Army from July of 1974 until August of 1978. He attended Austin Area Vocational School and received a degree in machine shop and electronics. After working for various machine shops, Dave began working at Hormel in Austin and later retired. He did carpentry and enjoyed making furniture. Over the years, he collected trains, stamps, coins, and World War II memorabilia. Dave was also an avid Star Wars fan and only drove Mopar-Dodge trucks. He will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Survivors include his wife, Dawn Wiseman; children, Karen (Jeremy Zelinske) Arnold, David (Dena) Wiseman, Patricia (Jacob) Youngmark, Richard (Akiemie Kelley) Wiseman and Samuel (Moriah Jane) Dinwiddie; 18 grandchildren, Gadge (Mariah) Arnold, Samantha (Lee) Schmeling, Alexis Arnold, Kaylyn Johannsen, Zoey Wiseman, Kylee Bollinger, Isabelle Youngmark, Aden Youngmark, Jordan Youngmark, Zachary Wiseman, Savannah Wiseman, Karrington Wiseman, Ohliva Wiseman, Kayden Wiseman, Aubree Wiseman, Camden Sweet, Aidan Sweer and Grayson Sweet-Quinlan; one great-grandchild, Tahlia Rose Arnold; honorary daughters, Sara Madison and Missy Bonnes; best friend, Louie Miller; siblings, Jim (Jean) Wiseman, Suzanne Stowell, Loretta Morgan, Steven (Darci) Wiseman, Carol Conner and Cheryl (Ronald) Brady of Austin; brother-in-law, Bob Boysen; sisters-in-law, LeAnn Mitchell and Bev (Troy) Arnold; and many nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Patricia Wiseman; brother, Richard F. Wiseman; sister, Mary Boysen; grandsons, Kyle Bollinger and Daniel Bollinger; granddaughter, Dallas Quinn Dinwiddie; brothers-in-law, Roger Morgan and Donovan Mitchell; and nephews, John Wiseman and Robert Mitchell.

Memorial services will be held at 3 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 1, 2019, at Worlein Funeral Home Chapel in Austin. Visitation will take place one hour prior to the service on Friday at the funeral home. Reception will follow the service at 4 p.m. at The Eagle’s Club in Austin. Worlein Funeral Home of Austin is assisting the family with arrangements.
