Mower County Sheriff’s Office welcomes new deputy

Bronson Hindal was sworn in as the Mower County Sheriff’s Office’s newest deputy Friday morning at the Mower County Law Enforcement Center.
“We’re really thrilled to have Bronson join our team; it’s been a long time coming,” said Mower County Sheriff Steve Sandvik.
Hindal served as a Community Service Officer for Austin for two years before joining the MCSO.
“There are more variety of calls, different implements and a lot of towns,” Hindal said. “A lot of work goes into it and I wanted to move up to the next level and become a deputy.”
Hindal’s wife, Heather, pinned his badge on his chest during the swearing-in ceremony.
