Circle this coming Tuesday at 5 p.m. on your calendar as we host our travel meeting with information on a tour planned for 2020.

Our next extended tour is set for Oct. 10-20, 2020. This trip will be a Rhine River, 11-day tour. This trip will include the Netherlands, Germany, France and Switzerland. We invite all those who have already joined us along with any of you that might enjoy this tour.

We will be traveling on Europe’s largest river, with a modern luxurious ship, visiting ports of call along the way. You do not need to be a member of the Mower County Senior Center. You will need a current passport for this trip.

The meeting will be held in the Mower County Senior Center.

Upcoming trips

•Oct. 31-Nov. 1: Opening night at the Fireside Dinner Theatre in Wisconsin. This will be the annual Christmas show, which is the popular family holiday favorite, “Christmas Story.” You  will remember Ralphie and his quest for the Holy Grail of Christmas gifts, an official Red-Ryder Air Rifle, and the story line of “You’ll shoot your eye out.”

This production will also be staged as a musical comedy. Those of you returning to the Fireside will remember the fabulous buffet and their special candied sweet potatoes.

We do have a few seats available. This overnight trip will also make stops along the way,

•Nov. 13: Daytrippers Dinner Theatre, located near the Mall of America. We are making a return visit for another comedy, “Bermuda Triangle.” This comedy will perhaps pertain to some of our travelers, as the storyline involves two elderly ladies who have been moved into a nursing home in Las Vegas by their family. This trip includes a buffet lunch prior to the show. A few tickets remain.

•Dec. 4: The Church Basement Ladies have moved to a theater in Ames, Iowa.  Our lunch  stop for  this trip will be Cracker Barrel Restaurant. This trip is filled, but we can add your name to the waiting list.
