If you stop into the LIFE Mower County office anytime between 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2019, and prove that you made a donation or signed up to become a volunteer, you will receive a free mystery gift as thanks for supporting LIFE Mower County.

You can also make a donation or become a volunteer in person at the LIFE Mower County office.

Masonic Lodge Pancake Breakfast

There will be a Masonic Lodge pancake breakfast from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2020, at the Austin Masonic Lodge – Fidelity Lodge No. 39, 303 Main St S #A.

$5 per ticket.

​Tickets are available at the LIFE Mower County office or from any LIFE Mower County board member Tickets will also be available at the door.

Matching funds are from Minnesota Masonic Charities. Breakfast includes pancakes, bacon, sausage, juice, milk and coffee. Take-out available.

Chicken Dumpling Soup and Chili Supper

The annual Chicken Dumpling Soup and Chili Supper will be held from 4-7 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 28, 2020, at the Mower County Senior Center in Austin.

Tickets in advance are $7 for adults, $5 for children (ages 4-10); at the door tickets are $9 for adults and $7 for children. Children ages three and under are free. Tickets are available at the LIFE Mower County office or from any People First Aktion Club members. Tickets will also be available at the door.

Menu includes your choice of chicken dumpling soup and/or chili, beverage and dessert. Take-out is available.

Volunteers are needed, so contact our office.

Every donation, large or small, will help cut expenses and increase profits. We need boneless chicken, hamburger, carrots, celery and financial donations to purchase other items. Call the LIFE Mower County office at 507-433-8994 today and let us know how you can help.

Fudge sale

People First Aktion Club members will also be selling fudge from Dec. 17 to Jan. 23, with delivery on Wednesday, Feb. 12, or Thursday, Feb. 13, 2020.  A half pound of fudge is $6 and one pound of fudge is $10. Flavors include chocolate, chocolate walnut, rocky road, chocolate peanut butter, chocolate mint swirl, chocolate amaretto swirl, raspberry swirl, chewy praline and maple nut.

All fundraising done by the People First Aktion Club is for self-advocacy training and community services projects decided on by the group. Support these self-advocates that give back to those that have supported them.
