The Hayfield girls basketball team beat Grand Meadow (4-3 overall) 38-36 in GM Tuesday.

Taylor Burt hit the game-winning free throws for the Vikings (2-4 overall) with seven seconds remaining in the game.

“It’s a good momentum builder for a big week for us,” Hayfield head coach Kasey Krekling said.
