Kathryn (Kathy) Grace Gregg, 68, of Austin Minnesota, died Friday, Jan. 10, 2020, in Memory Care at St. Mark’s Living.

Kathy was born on Aug. 14, 1951, in Austin to Wesley Norman and Grace (Diekema) Gregg. Kathy grew up in Austin and graduated from Austin High School in 1969. She moved to Rochester, Minnesota, and worked as a nursing assistant at St. Marys Hospital for 35 years. After retiring, she returned to Austin. Kathy enjoyed walking and walked nearly every day until Parkinson’s slowed her down. She had a special place in her heart for animals and adopted many cats in her lifetime, most recently Tuxie and Acer. She especially loved to spend time with family and never forgot a birthday or special occasion.

Kathy will be missed by her siblings, Milla (Gary) Applen, Fred (Ann Kendrick) Gregg and Norma (Terry) Plath; niece, Laura Cooper; nephews, David Applen, Terrance (Tara Scott) Plath and Alex Plath; and two great-nephews, Benjamin Cooper and Leo Plath. Kathy was preceded in death by her parents.

A family burial will be held at a later date at Rose Creek Enterprise Cemetery.
