The Banfield School student council raised $200 for the Mower County Humane Society. They presented the money to President Barry Rush and Jay Lutz. The students held a “candy cane” sale ( the candy canes sold for 25 cents each) and raised $200 for the Mower County Humane Society. That’s a lot of candy canes.
Hormel Quality Control group from the Hormel Corp. Office donated goods gathered from a pet food/supply drive for the Mower County Humane Society. Ambassadors from that office were Caitlin Marty, Brittany Smith and Samantha Allen. They brought in enough supplies to last for quite some time and could be enough laundry soap to last the humane society six months.
