Members and friends of the Austin Shrine Club and Fidelity Lodge in Austin combined to raise just over $22,000 for the Salvation Army Food Shelf. 

This activity took place for the Shrine Club on Friday, Dec. 6 and for Fidelity Lodge on the Fridays and Saturdays between Thanksgiving and Christmas at Hy-Vee of Austin.

Matching grant requests were made to Minnesota Masonic Charities (MMC) in the amount of  $5,000 for each group. 

Pictured receiving the checks along with Masonic members are Major Jeff Strickler and Stacy Wisemore, the Salvation Army, and Neil Hanson, Brad Stout, Mary Hanson, Dean Johnson, and Charles Van House from the Masonic Families.

Members of the Shrine Club and Masonic Lodge would like to thank the community of Austin for their continued support of this project that has been a tradition since the mid-1950s.
