Bruins fall into fourth place after loss to Bobcats

The Austin Bruins fell into the fourth place in the NAHL Central Division after Bismarck completed a weekend sweep with a 3-2 win over the Bruins in Riverside Arena Saturday.

The Bobcats (27-11-4-3 overall) scored three times in the first period, but Austin (24-15-2-4 overall) responded in the second period when Kyle Oleksiuk and Hugh Quinn scored goals. Neither team scored in the third.

Austin now trails third place Minot by three points, but it holds a nine point lead over the Wilderness for the final playoff spot in the NAHL Central.
