Dudycha’s late free throw gives Hayfield a win over USC

The Hayfield boys basketball team made a late comeback to top United South Central (9-11 overall, 5-6 Gopher) 56-55 win Hayfield Tuesday.
Luke Dudycha scored the game-winning point for the Vikings (17-5 overall, 8-4 Gopher) when he sank the second of two free throws to snap a tie with five seconds left.
Hayfield had trailed 55-48 with three minutes left when Ethan Slaathaug, who notched 27 points, scored seven points straight to tie the game.
